How it works

How visits and likes work

No scores, no stars and nothing negative. Two counts: how many people went, and how many of them loved it.

  1. Log a visit. Add your photos, pick the place and name each dish. Delivery orders count too, and carry a bag icon.
  2. Heart what you loved. Liking any dish counts as liking the place. A visit without a heart still adds to the visit count.
  3. The lists build themselves. Restaurants and dishes rank by likes in each zone, so the best char kway teow in Bangsar rises on its own.

Why nothing negative

A visit without a like simply adds to the visit count. Nobody marks a place down, so every number on Tablegrub is good news, and one bad night cannot sink a family stall.

Counts appear once a place has 10 visits, so one or two people cannot put a place at the top. Paid listings and sponsors are labelled and never change a count.
